Artist Statement

The Fashion designer is something I thought was never a possibility for me. Who was a person that was not truly introduced into the art world until I was 17.  From that moment on I knew that I have found my path. I was mean to be a creative soul, but in what way was not yet clear to me. Until I discovered Fashion!, and from there I have not stop designing the clothes of the future.

I take my inspiration from all the positive influence in my life and use them in developing my designs. From a comfortable on the go design to one that expresses the true edge of the person behind the clothes. When it comes down to I use that person personality to create that piece of clothing. This is important to the making of my creation, that each piece has an inspiration behind the design so that the viewer can connect more on a emotional level to my work.

When it comes to my designs they are a piece of me in every piece I illustrate. They are wearable pieces of art that use small design elements to create interest to a otherwise plan everyday piece of clothing. I also strive to keep a feminine flare to my designs, but with a bit of edge to the design. To modernize the soft feminine forms of the past and to have a sense of a women's strength presented in the clothing. When it comes to where my designing will take me I do not know, but I will always design no matter where I end up in life.
